NOYOCO / MADE IN EUROPE 2016—2026

A European odyssey

For ten years, NOYOCO has designed its collections in Paris and developed them with a European network of specialist mills and workshops. From fibre to finished garment, every piece connects places, people, machines and precise gestures.

Chapter 01 / Origins

Ten years in Europe

From hand to hand

A NOYOCO garment begins with a line in Paris. It then moves through Europe: a fibre is selected, a cloth is woven, a pattern is adjusted, a button is shaped, a seam is pressed.

Made in Europe is not a label placed at the end. It is a chain of decisions and skills, carried by people who know exactly what their hands can do.

One garment, built component by component

  1. 01

The silhouette is drawn, proportioned and constructed in Paris.

  2. 02

Each fabric is chosen from the house that can give it the right character.

  3. 03

Interfacing, buttons, lining and zips are selected one by one.

  4. 04

Each style goes to the workshop specialised in that kind of garment.

  5. 05

Fittings, pressing, checks and corrections give the piece its precision.

Chapter 02 / The material houses

The sublime is a craft

Before becoming a garment, cloth is already the result of extraordinary knowledge. These houses turn fibre, water, colour, time and machines into something almost alive.

01 / PRATO

ZANIERI

Prato, Tuscany / founded in 1952

At Zanieri, dyeing, spinning and weaving are brought together in the Prato mill. The scale of the machines is impressive; the precision remains human. Here, raw fibre gradually acquires density, colour and character.

02 / PRATRIVERO

VITALE
BARBERIS
CANONICO

Pratrivero, Piedmont / textile heritage since 1663

Vitale Barberis Canonico’s history reaches back to 1663. In Pratrivero, its full-cycle mill follows wool from fibre to finished cloth. Centuries of memory, kept relevant by constant technical precision.

03 / CASTANHEIRA DE PERA

ALBANO MORGADO

A discreet mill, nearly a century old.

Castanheira de Pera / founded in 1927

Albano Morgado preserves Portugal’s carded-wool tradition through an integrated process: preparation, weaving, dyeing and finishing. A discreet house with nearly a century of textile experience.

NOYOCO has worked with these houses over the course of its collections. Their presence varies by style and season; the composition and origin shown on each product page and passport are authoritative.

Chapter 03 / Brochot / The detail

This button started as milk.

The sentence usually stops the conversation. Yet milk really is the starting point.

Eco-Gala is a galalith made with casein, a milk protein. It becomes a dense material that can be polished and dyed, designed to last alongside the garment.

At Brochot, a button maker with roots in the Jura, galalith, corozo, wood, horn and mother-of-pearl pass through a succession of precise gestures: turning, machining, polishing and colouring.

Another origin / Another gesture

And this one, from a seed.

Corozo comes from the very hard seed of the tagua palm, often called vegetable ivory. It can be cut, polished and dyed, revealing a subtle natural grain. Different origin, same fascination: a simple material transformed by expertise.

Button material varies by garment, season and production batch. The relevant product page and passport are the reference.

Chapter 04 / European atlas

Europe, by way of its roads

A 1909 atlas to tell the story of a present-day network. Paris, the Jura, Prato, Pratrivero, Castanheira de Pera, Bucharest: miles travelled, but above all, people met.

Historic illustrated map of Europe from Le Larousse pour tous, 1909, with six NOYOCO network markers

Hover over or select a marker to follow the journey

  1. Paris / France

Creative direction, design, development and collection building.

  2. Jura / France

Brochot’s button-making heritage: casein, corozo and other natural materials.

  3. Prato / Italy

Zanieri: dyeing, spinning and weaving in the Prato mill.

  4. Pratrivero / Italy

Vitale Barberis Canonico: a full-cycle wool mill and textile heritage.

  5. Castanheira de Pera / Portugal

Albano Morgado: carded wool, weaving, dyeing and finishing.

  6. Bucharest / Romania

Development, garment making and production follow-up documented in NOYOCO’s archives.

The historic map evokes the journey; it does not show present-day borders. The markers are a documented selection from NOYOCO’s network, not the supply chain of every garment. The product page and passport remain the reference.

Chapter 05 / The trace

One garment, one memory

The QR code on a garment opens its production passport. It preserves the available information about the material, mill, workshop and batch, so the story remains accessible months or years after purchase.

The passport attached to your garment is the reference. Scan the QR code on the piece to retrace its documented journey.
